ShedMusic ’26 returns to Coolum
from Friday 16, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October 2026 at the Coolum Civic Centre.
Three Days of Music, Mateship and Wellbeing ShedMusic ’26 will feature a diverse program spanning Blues, Jazz, Rock ’n’ Roll, Folk and more, with performances across several Coolum venues.
The main stages will be at the Coolum Civic Centre and adjacent Jack Morgan Park, with additional performances at the nearby Coolum Beach Sports Club.
The festival will informally get underway on Friday evening, 16 October, with a special Welcome to Performers BBQ at the Coolum Men’s Shed.
On Saturday, 17 October, audiences can enjoy a full day of live music featuring Men’s Shed musicians and community groups. Performances will run continuously from 10.00am through to 9.00pm, across the Civic Centre stage and Jack Morgan Park.
Sunday, 18 October, will continue the musical celebrations, culminating in a lively evening Dance Party featuring line dancing, bush dancing and good old-fashioned Rock ’n’ Roll.
Music for Health At the heart of ShedMusic is a simple idea:
making music together is good for us.
Alongside the performances, ShedMusic ’26 will offer a range of workshops and activities exploring the connection between music and health.
Free Health Checks ShedMusic ’26 will again feature the popular Health Pit Stop, with a clinical team from Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service providing free health checks for all.
Mates Making Music
Informal sing-alongs, open mic sessions and jam sessions will also take place throughout the Civic Centre and Jack Morgan Park precinct, providing opportunities for people of all musical abilities to participate, connect and have fun.
